PAST

Ian published his first story in Fear magazine. It was a horror story exploring the uneasy boundary between artistic expression and the limits of taste. It was called ‘State of the Art’.

‘Pearls for Tears’ appeared in the Maynard and Simms anthology Darkness Rising. It’s the story of greed in the wake of a quiet death, of a haunting, and of the triumph of love in the ever-after.

A flash fiction story entitled ‘And For His Last Trick’ was included on the-phone-book.com site.

'The Moonshot Goodnight’ was published in the Barbara Roden-edited anthology All Hallows (Issue 42), and tells the story of a man’s determination to say farewell to the people he holds precious, even after his life has been stolen from him.

Ian’s story ‘The Long Hunt’ has just been accepted for inclusion in the forthcoming anthology Horror for Good, which includes contributions from such horror-fiction luminaries as F. Paul Wilson, Ramsey Campbell, Jack Ketchum and Joe R. Landsdale. ‘The Long Hunt’ follows the last act in a decades-long chase by a jaded huntsman for the fiend he’s sworn to destroy.

FUTURE
Ian is currently working on the second volume of a virus outbreak trilogy for young adult readers, Bonehound, the follow-up to Dogz.
